Unruled Games collects no personal data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics on this site. One game, Alien Friends, sends anonymous gameplay statistics, and you can turn them off.
Games
- Saves and settings are stored on your device.
- Steam Cloud syncs that save between your machines. Valve handles it; we cannot read it.
- Achievements go through Steam. We see only anonymous aggregate stats.
- Apart from Alien Friends' statistics below, the games send no data anywhere.
Alien Friends: gameplay statistics
- What: how the game is played, such as eras reached, fights and how they ended, upgrades bought, weapons used, time played and frame rate, plus error messages, the build and your screen size.
- Who: a random ID the game makes on first launch and keeps with your saves. Not your Steam ID, name or account, and nothing that points to you.
- Where: PostHog Cloud in the EU. Your IP address is not stored and not used to look up your location.
- Why: to balance the game and fix what breaks.
- Off: Settings, then SEND STATS: OFF. Nothing is sent after that. Builds for development send nothing at all.
- Because the ID is random, we cannot tell which of the data is yours.
